RICHARD NEMETH ADDRESSES NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CONSUMER BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEYS

One of our principals, Richard Nemeth, made a presentation at the annual workshop conducted by the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys last week. NACBA is the only national organization that represents consumer bankruptcy attorneys and their clients. NACBA holds 2 conventions each year where nationally-known experts in the field of consumer bankruptcy make training presentations to other attorneys

Mr. Nemeth was asked by NACBA to discuss the initial meeting with a potential bankruptcy client, how to assess the client’s goals and whether an attorney may achieve them, and gathering the necessary information in order to file a successful consumer bankruptcy case. The presentation was titled “Searching by Daylight with a Torch”. The conference was held on Amelia Island, Florida at the Ritz Carlton Resort. Mr. Nemeth’s co-presenter was Gene Melchionne, who is the NACBA State Chair for the State of Connecticut. Mr. Nemeth is the State Chair for the Northern District of Ohio.

By all accounts, the presentation was a smashing success. Mr. Nemeth has spoken at NACBA conventions many times in the past and we expect he will be invited to speak again in the future. This coming week, both Mr. Nemeth and Mr. Barrett, our other principal, will be making presentations to attorneys at a continuing legal education seminar conducted by the National Business Institute.
